The Gunners will face outgoing champions Leicester City at the Emirates today, buoyed by their FA Cup semi-final success against Manchester City that set up a final with Chelsea.
But Wenger remained tight-lipped on whether he plans to stay when quizzed on Tuesday morning.
Asked if there was any news, he simply replied "no", and repeated the response when pressed on whether he had any idea when an announcement will be made.
Wenger, however, said he had heard no such thing and the 30-year-old France worldwide signed a contract in January which keeps him at the Emirates until 2020.
Oxlade-Chamberlain's performances in the past few weeks have shown just how important a player he could be for the team.
The reports say that his new deal could put him in the elite bracket at the club and he would earn around £100,000-a-week.

But the 28-year-old's future remains shrouded in uncertainty as he and Mesut Ozil have yet to agree new long-term deals with the club.
He told reporters: "I don't think that you would sell him to any Premier League club, that is for sure".
"Overall that win will give us a bit more confidence, I think it will convince everybody that with the right energy level, the right fighting spirit and the right togetherness we can beat everybody. In addition, I think a lot of our players are better suited to playing in this kind of system, as we have seen Rob Holding, Gabriel and wing-back Oxlade-Chamberlain all excel in their roles under the new formation. "It's still possible, but that means we'll maybe have to have a ideal run-in".
"The top four is open - but what it demands from us is consistency in the results now until the end of the season".
"It looks like we will, that has to be the target and to achieve that we have to win the next one", he said. "We need to keep the level of desire and hunger for every game of the season".
