Griezmann brilliance forced Leicester rethink, says Shakespeare

"He's a fabulous player", Atletico coach Diego Simeone said of the French worldwide.

Diego Simeone hailed Antoine Griezmann as the complete player after the France star sealed a 1-0 win for Atletico Madrid over Leicester City in the Champions League.

"We've just got to move on although it's taken the gloss off it a little bit". "We take with us an important triumph". It's a good win for us but the second leg will be hard. We know what we are about at the King Power and know what we need to do.

But the 30-year-old was still upset after referee Jonas Eriksson awarded a first-half penalty despite Marc Albrighton fouling Griezmann outside the box.

Albrighton cynically fouled Griezmann as he entered the penalty area but despite the offence taking place outside of the box, the referee deemed that it was inside, much to the frustration of the Leicester midfielder.

After 15 minutes, Leicester had registered a mere 10 touches inside the Atletico half but the visitors belatedly settled into a period of possession and Okazaki was unable to readjust adequately to turn home Albrighton's unsafe low cross.

Shakespeare added: "If I think it's a benefit [he could play there]".

Several other hedge funds and other institutional investors have also recently made changes to their positions in KO. Shares of The Coca-Cola ( NYSE:KO ) traded up 0.37% during midday trading on Friday, reaching $43.27.

"I think there are people deciding that and it could only be good for the game", Albrighton said of VAR.

Leicester stayed tightly locked on defense even after conceding the goal, making sure it headed back to England with a chance. They are now in a good position to qualify for their third Champions League semifinal in four seasons after appearing in two of the last three finals in the competition.

Leicester also had to overcome a first-leg loss to a Spanish club in the last 16, eliminating Sevilla 3-2 on aggregate.

Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was equally adamant that the decision was the incorrect one. But it won 2-0 in the return game to keep its surprising run alive.

However, there was a blow when defensive linchpin Robert Huth was booked for a foul on Griezmann which rules him out of Tuesday's second leg at the King Power Stadium. "We've got so much technology available to us now that I find it odd we can't be offering help to officials with video evidence".

Leicester could be down to the bare bones for the second leg with Yohan Benalouane, who played in Madrid, and Marcin Wasilewski the only recognised central defenders available. However, Shakespeare could not be certain that his captain would be back in time.
