Arsene Wenger continues to dodge questions over Arsenal future

- Arsene Wenger says Arsenal need to win all of their remaining game to ensure a top four finish at the end of the season.

Despite falling behind to a Sergio Aguero breakaway goal on 61 minutes they showed their mental strength by responding with goals from Nacho Monreal 11 minutes later and an Alexis Sanchez strike in the 101st minute of extra time - to set up a May 27 final against Antonio Conte's Chelsea side.

Victory, sealed by Alexis Sanchez's extra-time victor, was a much-needed boost for all connected with Arsenal in a season that could yet end with the club missing out on a top four Premier League place, which brings with it the prize of Champions League qualification.

Arsenal had not looked entirely comfortable in their new 3-4-3 formation the previous week, when they ground out a 2-1 win over struggling Middlesbrough, but they were dogged and determined against City, qualities they have so often lacked this season.

Aaron Ramsey put in a big shift against City so I think he'll be given a breather with Mohamed Elneny coming in alongside Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park.

"I have had no approach from Marseille and we want to keep Olivier Giroud at the club", Wenger said.

"We had a hard period where the team was losing games it should have not lost and obviously you come to the situation where you play under pressure and need to find a way out".

"The problem as well that you have to analyse, always, firstly is: 'Can you find better?"

"Arsenal" won "Leicester" in all eight previous home matches in the Premier League.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's record of having won at least one trophy in every season as a manager is nearly certain to be ended.

Islam Slimani will also miss the game at the Gunners with a groin injury with Leicester six points clear of the Premier League's bottom three with six games remaining.

Alexis Sanchez is out of contract with Arsenal at the end of next season. So when you play an amount of money, every year you deduct - when he signs for four years - 25 per cent of a contract.

The Leicester game marks the start of a tough run-in for Arsenal, with Tottenham up next at White Hart Lane on Sunday. There is little margin for error.

"I personally think he will sign and stay here", Wenger said.
