Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has officially sent out press invites for its next big event, which is scheduled to take place in NY on May 2. The report said it would be a great device that makes the "Surface Phone" the most secure smartphone if rumors are true. As things starts to develop, this upcoming event by Microsoft is leaning towards software introduction rather that hardware release as many would like to happen. There's literally no serious competition for Chromebooks in that segment at the moment, and we're hoping that the Windows 10 Cloud devices from Microsoft - and then OEMs - will give Chromebooks a run for their money. There is no doubt that the CloudBook will have an Intel chip, but Windows Cloud will have a setting where users can easily restrict apps to Windows Store only, which will be set to default.
It now appears that Microsoft may launch a Surface 3 running on this lighter Windows 10 Cloud. The report said that one of the hard things that Microsoft has to deal with is that not a lot of people really care about a Windows smartphone, and that has more to do with the Windows Mobile OS. His concept was that one operation system would be dominating the mobile market. Microsoft has a new Desktop App Bridge for Windows app developers that allow Win32 app developers to bring their apps to the Windows Store. But that was because they ran Windows RT, the now-defunct version of Windows designed for ARM-based devices (as opposed to Intel/AMD x86 machines).
"The Windows 10 upgrade isn't available for your phone right now".

Microsoft (MSFT) is gearing up to take on Alphabet Inc.'s (GOOG) Google Chromebook, with reports surfacing that it will roll out a low-priced laptop in May.
Carl Vinson strike group isn't heading directly to Korea
The strike group, including the 97,000-ton carrier and its 60-plus aircraft, the guided-missile destroyers USS Wayne E. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un responded with his own fiery warnings and threatened to conduct weekly missile tests.
"This is a result of more work we're doing to converge code into OneCore-the heart of Windows across PC, tablet, phone, IoT [internet of things], HoloLens, Xbox and more as we continue to develop new improvements for Windows 10 Mobile and our enterprise customers", Sarkar claimed.
Windows 10 Creators Update also focuses on transparency around its data collection policies.
The biggest impact was on Windows 7, because it had become the standard in enterprises - Microsoft's most valued customers - with deployment shares far north of 50%.
