The party leadership is hoping that the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party's winning spree in assembly elections will extend to these states as well.
The political resolution adopted on the concluding day of the two-day national executive meeting dwelled on the party's electoral successes, saying the BJP not only has the largest number of MPs but also largest number of MLAs across the states.
Shah said the BJP should have governments in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and other North-Eastern states. He also informed that during his visit National President Amit Shah will be visiting different districts and hold meetings with party workers at the booth level.

"Jan dhan, van dhan, jal dhan" (human, forests and water resources) will be the foundation of a new India, he said, underlining his agenda of tapping India's demographic dividend, launching sustainable development in forests for tribals and exploiting its water resources.
