A spokesperson from Fort Belvoir, where the helicopter was based, said at least one crew member was medically evacuated from the accident site.
Officials from Fort Belvoir, which is located around 65 miles from the country club, said the UH-60 Black Hawk is from their 12th Aviation Battalion.
A golf pro at Breton Bay said the helicopter "was kind of flying sideways, pretty low". The two injured crew members - one in serious and one in critical condition - are at the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
