Sunrisers Hyderabad began the defence of their IPL title with a 35-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament's opening game. Yuvraj's whirlwind knock helped SRH to 207, eventually sculpting a 35-run over against the previous edition's finalist Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Yuvraj played a starring role in the win, lighting up the match with some excellent strokeplay as he plundered 62 runs from 27 deliveries. "It was a great start for us". Though, he was dropped twice during the course of his innings but the flamboyant batsman seemed to be pretty confident about his shots and game play.

"If he can do that another five or six times in the tournament we will easily make the final and can also win", he added.

Yuvraj, who made a comeback to the Indian team recently, showed glimpses of his old form, smashing three sixes and seven boundaries against Bangalore. "Still a big learning curve for me to know how to take to them [bowlers], what fields to set and we will certainly be a lot better from what happened tonight". My batting has been up and down over a couple of years, but I am feeling really good at the moment.

Three officers from the Chicago Aviation Department have been placed on leave since the incident, and a review is ongoing. But Thomas Demetrio, one of Dao's attorneys, called the apology staged and indicated his client will likely sue.

"No. Nothing specific. I just had to go out and play. I can't see there'll any change from the team the other night", he added. I am freer in my mind and I am not worrying anymore about making a comeback.

"The southpaw has been practising extensively on his batting and he said", I have been hitting a lot of balls and practicing a lot. "I was a bit lucky today but I have been playing the short ball really well". "I made a comeback when I scored a lot of runs in Hyderabad". He is batting beautifully at the moment, so Ben Cutting's fantastic piece of work changed the game. "Hopefully I will keep doing what I am doing right now", Yuvraj was quoted as saying by IPLT20.com.

But Ben Cutting's fine run-out of Jadhav off a direct hit turned the innings, and RCB lost their last eight wickets for 56 runs as they were bowled out for 172 with two balls of their innings to spare.
