The Englishman published the 1907 brochure "The Waste of Daylight" and spent much of his personal fortune evangelizing with missionary zeal for the adoption of "summer time".

But not everyone agrees with the lawmaker and believes the time change exists for a reason. Quite the opposite, the agriculture industry was opposed to changing clocks as the sun, not a clock, determined when farmers began working.

Daylight Saving Time is here again. Cows weren't ready to be milked an hour earlier which disrupted shipping schedules. But while states can choose to exempt themselves from daylight saving time, nothing in federal law allows them to exempt themselves from standard time.

If the Third World War ever breaks out, the Brits will be up by walk-of-shame o'clock and back in bed by the end of Coronation Street. Before that, many tourist related businesses around Banderas Bay would set their clocks to Puerto Vallarta time to prevent confusion.

North Carolina has a bill this session to create a committee to study the impact of daylight saving time.

Brown out as presidential candidate
Not only are other candidates starting to talk about the dignity of work, voters across the country are demanding it. Sherrod Brown , D-Ohio, participates in the press conference on the nomination of Chad Readler, to be U.S.

"I think we can act in unison, the four jurisdictions, and make the argument we can stay in Daylight Saving Time or Pacific Standard Time and then do it together", the premier said.

There are many who question whether the practice is still necessary.

In addition, there are studies that show an increase in gasoline consumption during daylight saving time. This annual event is exciting because it means Spring is just around the corner, but it's also a widely dreaded occasion, since it also means everyone will lose an hour of sleep. Cities like NY and Pittsburgh passed their own daylight saving time laws, and it was brought back nationally for a little while during World War II. Strokes also increase in the two days afterward.

Dudeck also warned drivers about the dangers of driving while sleep-deprived, adding that just because awareness levels may be lowered, the risk of danger never changes. "What if we kept it standard time?".
