Jordan Spieth, whose putting and short game brilliance lifted him to victory two weeks ago in the British Open at Royal Birkdale, was at it again in Thursday's opening round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
World number one Dustin Johnson has been drawn to play alongside former champion Jason Day and Swede Henrik Stenson in the first two rounds of next week's PGA Championship, organisers announced on Friday.
"He always puts something amusing in there, he said "call me, I think I need to give you some driving lessons" and I've played with him and I know I definitely don't need driving lessons from him".
In addition to discussing his pursuit of the career grand slam next week at the PGA Championship, the 24-year-old was asked about his adventure at the 13th hole in his final round.
The 24-year-old Spieth be joined in the 10.25pm group with reigning Masters champion Sergio Garcia and June's US Open victor Brooks Koepka.
Russian lawyer Veselnitskaya gives her account of fateful Trump Jr. meeting
Veselnitskaya said on July 19 that she was ready to testify before the US Senate if she gets security guarantees. Veselnitskaya was reported to have links to the Kremlin, an allegation she has flatly denied.
"I missed my right side of the fairway by 20 yards-ish and it hit a guy in the head and then went over the next mound".
"I mean there have been other times, the Masters in 2016 when defending or 17 trying to get it back, I've maybe felt that a bit, but this is just a major".
"That's a lot easier said than done, but when my pace starts to feel good, when I start to get that really dialled in, that's when they'll start going in".
"I'm not really finding any negatives in this", he added. "I plan on continuing the celebration as long as I can until I wear it out", Spieth said.
"My focus isn't on the career Grand Slam, it's a major championship".
