The world has been speculating about the origin of Jay Z's 4:44 album since its release earlier this summer, and one fan's latest theory will leave you #shook.
One Twitter user posted a photo of The Standard Hotel in New York City on Wednesday morning (July 26), which is the location where Solange put her hands on the "Smile" rapper in the elevator. On top of that, the elevator where the beating of Jay-Z's ass occurred was reportedly located right outside Le Bain. "Knowing all along, all you had to say [is that] you was wrong". The Standard, High Line's address isn't actually 444; it's 848 Washington St.
The 2014 Met Gala afterparty was held at the bar and leaked footage of the elevator ride down the building revealed Solange had been kicking and punching Jay Z during a furious row.
Outrage as Trump bans 'disruptive' trans soldiers
This reverses a policy change put in place by President Obama previous year to allow transgender troops to serve openly. In his tweets, President Trump pointed to "tremendous medical costs and disruption" as the reasons behind the ban.
People have obviously been wondering what the relevance is of Jay-Z's new album title 4:44 since it was announced.
His confessions even included a line about his famous elevator fight with Beyonce's younger sister, Solange. They added that they had "moved forward as a united family". Maybe. For now, and most likely forever, the meaning of 4:44 will be a mystery.
Because it was an afterparty, it makes sense that Solange, Beyoncé and Jay-Z would have been celebrating there. In the "Footnotes" for his album title track, the rapper got candid about his almost decade-long marriage to Queen Bey and the problems that have tested their relationship. "We've been in that space where we just got to the place that in order for this to work, it can't be fake-not once", he said.
