WEATHER: Much warmer, possible storms through tonight

Both days look handsome, so get out and enjoy! Those counties include Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee and Lapeer. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. It looks like the rain will be coming in a couple of different waves.

Tonight: Thunderstorms likely, some with damaging wind, torrential rains and hail mostly ending by about 2am.

A cold front will continue its trek to the east, and as the sun comes out this afternoon, this will add further fuel to an already unstable atmosphere. The brief window for heavy rain is expected to be followed by a prolonged dry period lasting several hours. Scattered thunderstorms developing later at night.
