Not Denying It, Discussions Are On: Rajinikanth On Joining Politics

Describing the reports of Rajinikanth joining politics as a "media hype", the outspoken BJP leader advised the south Indian actor against joining politics. The actor had declared his recent meets with politicians as courtesy visits.Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam president Tamilaruvi Manian who met the actor three weeks ago had said that Rajinikanth would form his own party and enter politics.The superstar said that he is likely to meet hi.

On Friday, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy scoffed at the idea of Rajinikanth joining politics as he brusquely told at TV channel that the actor was "unfit for politics".

"I don't deny meeting them".

He had said, "When a war comes, they will come to the rescue of their motherland". He is quoted saying he would make a decision entering into politics pretty soon.

Rajinikanth recently wrapped up shooting his portion for the Mumbai schedule of the Tamil gangster drama.
