Prosecutors in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial have vowed to try him a second time. Cosby's trial ended without a verdict after jurors failed to reach a unanimous decision.
Gasps could be heard in the courtroom as District Attorney Kevin Steele said he intends to retry the case.
When the trial started June 5, the jury of seven men and five women were bussed in from Allegheny County near Pittsburgh and have since been sequestered in a hotel.
Cosby remains on $1 million bail over the three felony charges.

Two women jurors who appeared to be in their 30s or 40s looked anguished when they announced the final deadlock, wiping away tears with tissues handed to them by a sympathetic young man sitting between them. The entertainer, once known as America's Dad, offered Father's Day greetings to well-wishers outside the courthouse after court adjourned.
The judge, meanwhile, assured the panel members - whose identities remain sealed by court order - that he appreciated their efforts throughout the two-week trial.
Judge Steven O'Neill refused, saying there's no precedent to halt the jury's work.
After 9 p.m. on Thursday, the judge said 12 hours of deliberations was long enough and the jurors were later sent home.
