The second (and third) coming have finally happened, with Beyoncé giving birth to her and husband Jay Z's twins over the weekend, as confirmed by her father Matthew Knowles on Twitter.

The birthday card with a picture of balloons read, "Happy Birthday to the twins!" Beyonce made the announcement with a stunning image posted to Instagram that showed her new baby bump. She posted a photo showcasing her handsome baby bump with the caption, "We would like to share our love and happiness".

This is one of those times when we wish stars weren't just like us.

We also don't know what the babies' names are yet - but Beyonce and Jay Z are fans of unique names, naming their eldest daughter Blue Ivy. She attended the 2017 Grammy Awards back in February (where she gave a stunning performance) and recently hit the red carpet with Blue at the Los Angeles premiere of "Beauty and the Beast".

The message was the first word from a family member about the birth of the twins, which took place last Monday, according to several entertainment media websites that quoted unnamed sources.

After all, their big sister had a hit single within days of her arrival.

The trio is reportedly still recovering at the hospital, as doctors do not feel comfortable releasing them, though sources tell the gossip site all will be well, and mother and children are expected to be okay.
