The Madrid president, who was re-elected unopposed this week, gave a full-length interview to Onda Cero where he spoke at length about the Ronaldo situation.

The 54-year-old Mourinho, who coached Madrid from 2010-13, now coaches Manchester United. Ironically, a return to United, where he would reunite with Mourinho, has been mooted.

Ronaldo's court date will will be at 11:00 am in the Court of Instruction number one of Pozuelo de Alarcón, in Madrid.

However club president Florentino Perez disclosed that no offers had been received by Real to tempt Ronaldo away and the club was determined to keep him. "If Cristiano wants to leave Real Madrid, it won't be for money".

However, Perez remains undisturbed by the reports and says he is "not contemplating' letting Ronaldo leave Real Madrid".

In three years with Real Madrid, Mourinho won the Primera Liga (2012) and the Spanish Cup (2011).

The claims against Mourinho come amid a lengthening list of tax fraud cases involving soccer stars in Spain.

He added that the US and China "call for complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula". Why? To make a political point, to show the US that this is what you get if you mess with North Korea.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi was sentenced to a 21-month jail sentence and 2.09-million-euro fine past year for tax fraud.

Ronaldo has denied any wrongdoing, and Madrid issued a statement last week saying it believed the player was innocent.

He said that Ronaldo had clearly done nothing wrong and Perez was appalled that the "presumption of innocence is not respected" by the media who have branded the player a delinquent.

Last week Cristiano Ronaldo was also accused of tax fraud and now the Euro Winner will testify in court on 31 July over allegations of €14.8min unpaid taxes between 2011 and 2014.

However, reports have since suggested that Ronaldo is "upset" at his treatment, and is set to leave Real.

José Mourinho joins a growing list of football stars being investigated and prosecuted in Spain over accusations of tax evasion, in particular in connection with allegedly undeclared income from the sale of image rights by using companies based outside the country.

"From now on it will be the judge in charge of the case who will take the necessary steps to determine the possible responsibilities of Mr Mourinho".
