The former Chelsea winger made headlines at the weekend when he was caught up in a mass brawl during Shanghai SIPG's 1-1 draw with Guangzhou R&F.

During a CSL match between Oscar's Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou on Sunday, the Brazil global appeared to deliberately kick the ball at two opposition players in quick succession.

"Oscar's immoral foul, which sparked a massive bust-up on the pitch, has had a huge negative impact on China's professional football leagues,"a statement from the Chinese Football Association (CFA) read".

Suddenly players, substitutes and coaches all plough onto the pitch as a mass brawl breaks out.

Two players were sent off following the fight while the ill-tempered match ended 1-1.

Oscar's purchase was the third time in a 12-month period the Asian transfer record had been broken with the fee paid for the Brazilian surpassing that paid by SIPG for Hulk seven months earlier.

'The CFA alway attaches great importance to the issue of discipline, taking great pains to root out the violent fouls and other unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Reports suggest the CFA were initially unsure as to how to punish Oscar and wrote to Federation Internationale de Football Association asking for advice following a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday (June 21).

The Brazil global did not attend the hearing and was pictured soon after wearing a t-shirt reading "nothing to do, nothing to say".
