Family of Otto Warmbier declines autopsy

No cause of death has been determined for Warmbier, 22, who was detained for almost a year-and-a-half in North Korea before being sent home in a coma last week.

While suffering from severe brain damage, Warmbier, died at a Cincinnati Medical Center on Monday.

Hamilton County 's Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco's office released a statement saying Otto Warmbier's family objected to an autopsy so only an external exam of his body was done.

Warmbier was arrested at the airport in Pyongyang, North Korea, for allegedly trying to steal a propaganda poster from a restricted area in January 2016 while visiting the country on a sightseeing tour organized by a Chinese-based company.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said a meeting between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is less likely following Warmbier's death.
