The heat and firm course conditions continue at Royal Ascot for Wednesday's six-race card, which features four group events and the Prince of Wales's Stakes (GI) as the main event of the day.

Scottish made most of the running, with Highland Reel hot on his heels and Decorated Knight not too far away, either.

Decorated Knight held on for second with Ulysses third.

The son of Galileo has consistently proven himself in elite company, this victory for the five-year-old colt coming fewer than three weeks after his Coronation Cup success at Epsom.

The five-year-old who won the Secretariat Stakes over a mile and quarter in 2015 and took the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth II Stakes over 12 furlongs at Ascot last summer, hopes to get Team Ballydoyle back on track following the surprise defeat of double Guineas victor Churchill in the Group 1 St. James's Palace Stakes on the opening day of the meeting.

Ryan Moore: "He's so tough, he's got a marvellous attitude, so many came at him there".

"It was a top performance at Epsom [where he won 19 days ago] and I'd say this is probably a career-best for him".

"Fair play to Aidan to keep bringing him back".

In addition to Kushner, the firm also represents the interests of Ivanka Trump and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. Obstruction of justice was among the articles of impeachment drafted against both Presidents Nixon and Clinton.

Jack Hobbs, the 2-1 favourite, looked to be in contention but faded to finish last.

"We knew he'd see it out really well".

Aidan O'Brien said: "He's a brilliant horse and Ryan gave him a brilliant ride".

"Seamus (Heffernan) was very happy with his work and David who rides him every day was over the moon with him".

"He's an incredible horse".

"He's won't stop, he's so quick tactically and so courageous".

"Back at a mile-and-a-quarter today but we know he gets a mile-and-a-half but he's a very very good Group 2 victor over seven furlongs as a two-year-old so he always had that pace". Ryan was happy if the pace was on he'd take a lead. The jet-setting five-year-old has won twice at the highest level in America, once in Hong Kong and now three times in Britain, accumulating nearly £6 million in prize money.
