President Donald Trump has questioned why Hillary Clinton has not been placed under investigation for alleged ties between her family and Russian Federation.

"Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russian Federation are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?" the President tweeted Thursday afternoon.

There's a lot going on here - and I'm not just talking about the typos and grammatical failings.

Trump went on a Twitter rant on Thursday afternoon-off his normal early morning schedule-where he brought back his favorite nickname for Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

In late March, as the House Intelligence Committee was thrown into turmoil after it was revealed that chairman Devin Nunes appeared to have coordinated with the White House he was supposed to be overseeing, Trump asked a similar question about Clinton.

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at Hillary Clinton and the media after a report he was under investigation for possible obstruction of justice.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating the Trump campaign's ties to the Kremlin, but according to the Washington Post, the scope of his inquiry has now widened. The order also covers separate inquiries into several key Trump associates including former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, campaign adviser Paul Manafort, foreign policy aide Carter Page and outside adviser Roger Stone.
