Cappy is Mario's hat in Super Mario Odyssey that the Italian Plumber can use to control other characters by throwing it on their heads. The co-op mode was shown during Nintendo's E3 Treehouse Live stream, giving viewers a chance to witness Mario and Cappy in action together. Playing as Cappy is a very different story.
The two-player co-op mode for "Super Mario Odyssey" also takes advantage of the Nintendo Switch JoyCon controllers. Mario will control its running, jumping, and camera but, will not be able to control Cappy in co-op mode. They also mention that Mario would still be able to toss his cap, presumably, in order to posses something by using a special move, which they don't show off. However, during the event, Nintendo did drop a hint that Mario could control Cappy in some way, but how, it was not revealed in the demo.
Nintendo then unveiled the Super Mario Odyssey amiibo that will be coming out. Additionally, Cappy is invincible, which means you can play as the magical hat without any concern about getting hurt. When the mode is activated, Mario's Cappy hovers above his noggin. Both players will also have control of the game's camera as well.
England will not give Aussies easy ride, says Buttler
He received good support from Liam Plunkett (15) in an eighth-wicket stand of 49 in 31 balls. Hosts England thrashed New Zealand to reach the Champions Trophy semis in style.
The theme of the game is that Mario is travelling across a fictional globe in a hat-shaped flying machine called the Odyssey, visiting several expansive and incredibly diverse areas including a jurassic mountain, a colourful food-themed volcano, a monochrome noir village and a realistic-looking urban area called New Donk City. It's unclear if the second player gets kicked out of the game while Mario is possessing things.
Super Mario Odyssey, arguably the biggest Switch game to come this holiday, features a sandbox playstyle, highly similar to past Mario entries such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.
