Firefighters are still searching for victims in the 24-story Grenfell Tower that went up in flames early Wednesday.
Nadir, 24, who has friends in Grenfell Tower, said: "At least she (Theresa May) could've met the victims, (Jeremy) Corbyn was a good man. he came and met the people".
The many questions being asked now include whether a "stay put" fire protocol, which called for residents to remain in their apartments if there was a fire elsewhere in the building, might have turned a lethal fire even more deadly.
The angry protesters barged their way through an automatic door at Kensington and Chelsea town hall and sought to gain entry to an upper floor. Police barred their way and scuffles broke out, a Reuters reporter said.
Almost 200 people chanting "We want justice!" marched near Notting Hill Gate tube station on Friday, demanding action from local councilors tasked with housing people following the disaster.
"I won't know that until we've gone through the full recovery from Grenfell Tower and we know exactly what we've got and I anticipate that is going to take a considerable period of time". Instead they released a statement promising to rehouse as many people locally as they could. "Automatically everybody turns up because we are one family", Phupinder Singh, a volunteer said.
The residential tower was built in 1974 and had been extensively refurbished in works that were completed a year ago.

Police also said they have launched a criminal inquiry into the fire. The toll is expected to rise.
Six victims have been provisionally identified so far, but Cundy told BBC that police "may not be able to identify everybody".
