Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte answer questions during a press briefing after awarding wounded soldiers, who fight against the insurgents of the Maute group, which has taken over large parts of the Marawi city, during his visit at the military camp hospital in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines June 11, 2017.

"I've just gone to get an X-ray to get it checked out", Harvey said in the video posted on Twitter by the station.

Harvey said he was opening the back door of a vehicle to get food and water when he felt a pain in the side of his neck.

"I went down on the ground and I thought I'd been hit by a bit of shrapnel".

"He's just taking some time off to rejuvenate", presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella told reporters.

A colleague said Harvey sustained the injury while photographing children playing in the Lanao del Sur provincial capitol compound on Thursday.

"There's a bullet in there", someone told him. Harvey never lost consciousness, and while he says his neck hurt, he had no idea he'd been shot.

But like I wrote above, at this point, all indications are that Boston will select Fultz first overall. "Lonzo is a great guard". So anybody that's in front of me I'm going to try to take him out. "I wouldn't say I'm a bad defender-just being locked it".

Al Jazeera correspondent Jamela Alindogan said residents who initially fled and wanted to return to the city were being stopped by military forces. "The casing and everything is not on it, obviously, it's just the perfectly formed little sharp-tipped bullet".

Doctors said the bullet was lodged below Harvey's left ear. The attack by IS-aligned militants in the southern city has displaced most of the more than 200,000 residents of Marawi, the bastion of Islamic faith in the south of the predominantly Roman Catholic nation.

Despite the crisis in Marawi, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has withdrawn from public duties this week because he is exhausted and needs to "rejuvenate", his spokesman said Thursday during the biggest crisis of his rule.

While the remaining gunmen have been isolated in four areas, sporadic gunfire has been reported in other places.

"Dead bodies, at least 100, are scattered around the encounter area", Adiong said.

The army has said 290 people have been killed in the more than three weeks of fighting, including 206 militants, 58 soldiers and 26 civilians.

Volunteers have been trying to extricate hundreds of civilians caught in the crossfire via "peace corridors", Adiong said, but many of those trapped were still opting to hide rather than risk being discovered by the fighters.
