India's lower order has not been under pressure yet, and winning these mini-tussles could hold the key for Bangladesh. We just want to play good cricket as a side.

India, after a clinical performance against South Africa, would like to maintain the same intensity against a team that could prove to be a proverbial banana peel for them. The team played really well. They fear no one and lost by just one run to India when they met in the T20 World Cup in Bangalore in March 2016.

After suffering defeat to England in their opener, Bangladesh were saved by the rain as Australia closed in on victory.

But a defeat will lead to unparalleled criticism from fans and critics alike with some of the uncomfortable behind the scene happenings (like the alleged Anil Kumble-Virat Kohli rift) again raising their head.

India opening batsman Rohit Sharma was limping during India's final practice, but Kohli hinted that they would name the same team that beat South Africa on Sunday, with spinner Ravichandran Ashwin keeping his place ahead of pace bowler Umesh Yadav.

No one in their dreams would compare Imrul Kayes or Sabbir Rahaman with Virat Kohli's class. He will become the 7th Indian to reach the landmark after Tendulkar (18,426), Ganguly (11,121), Rahul Dravid (10,768), Mohammad Azharuddin (9,378), MS Dhoni (9,164) and Yuvraj Singh (8,530). However, Kohli averages 42.33 against the Bangladeshi bowler.

WIll Bhuvneshwar Kumar swing it India's way in the semi-final? If cricket is religion in India, it's beyond that in Bangladesh.

Undoubtedly, India are the far superior side going into Thursday's clash, but as former Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar said: "This is a great opportunity for Bangladesh to emerge from the shadows and establish itself as a serious contender for higher honours, and that is how it must and will approach the semi-final against India".
