Beaten Bangladesh need to get mentally tougher says Mortaza

An entertaining 123 run third wicket partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim put Bangladesh in a strong position, but their middle order failed to fully capitalise on that foundation.

Sunday's match at the Oval in London will be just the second time the Asian giants have met in the final of a major International Cricket Council tournament. A batting masterclass from @ImRo45 and @imVkohli seals a 9 wicket thrashing of Bangladesh!

Having ended Bangladesh's campaigns at the most recent World Cup and World Twenty20, India made it a hat-trick of triumphs in emphatic fashion in front of 24,340 fans - a one-day global record at Edgbaston - to set up a mouthwatering final showdown with fierce rivals Pakistan on Sunday.

But Kedar Jadhav's filthy-looking slow round-armers winkled out Tamim for 70 and Mushfiqur, who slapped a low full toss to midwicket, for 61, and Bangladesh scrapped their way to a total that was never likely to push India's batting galacticos.

India launched their title-defence with a 124-run thrashing of arch-rivals Pakistan at Edgbaston 11 days ago. Rohit Sharma was 123 not out, while India captain Virat Kohli was 96 not out their unbroken partnership worth 178.

U.S. attorney general denies involvement in any collusion with Russian Federation
The attorney general has acknowledged two meetings a year ago with Russia's ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak. Trump vehemently denies any collusion between himself or any of his associates and Russian Federation.

The song is the extremely popular Bengali rendition "Amra Korbo Joy" of Pete Seeger's iconic "We Shall Overcome".

His decision proved spot on when Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled Soumya Sarkar in the second ball of the day.

Kohli said: "We had another complete game and we needed a clean, collective performance to beat this Bangladesh side". Tamim's 82 ball innings had seven fours and a flicked six off Hardik Pandya while Rahim hit four boundaries in his 85-ball knock.

There was some wet weather around that continued to plauge the Champions Trophy but despite a shower across the ground shortly before the coin toss, play was expected to start on time. Tamim had only smashed Ravichandran Ashwin out of the attack with three consecutive boundaries, forcing Kohli to bring on part-time off-spinner Kedar Jadhav. None of the Bangla pacers, including the skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, managed to bowl with discipline, simply gifting runs to Dhawan and Rohit on a platter.

Skipper Mortaza and Taskin Ahmed then produced a gritty rear-guard effort. The Last victory that Bangladesh registered against India was way back in 2007.
