Kevin Durant's three-game performance in the NBA Finals - he's averaging 34 points and 10 rebounds and hit the fourth-quarter 3-pointer that essentially ended the series last night - has made him the frontrunner for series MVP.

When asked about the road Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry took to reach this point in their first season together, Kerr brought up the former Heat duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Showing off his ability to spin in shots high off the backboard, Irving scored 16 in the third quarter and the Cavs held the Warriors to 22 points in their lowest scoring output in any quarter in this postseason.

In Game 2 the Cavaliers were hoping to even out the series, but instead they took another loss. James had 39 points while Kyrie Irving had 38, but a last-minute run by Golden State secured their win. The OVER is 7-1 in Golden State's last eight games.

The Warriors will have an opportunity to close out the series on Friday night and become the first undefeated team in the playoffs in National Basketball Association history. The Warriors need just one more victory to close out the series.

With 26 points and 13 rebounds, Curry's contribution was significant and he wants to finish the job later this week. He remains a magnificent player and an all-time great, but this Warriors team is truly one of the best of all time, based on what we've seen so far at least.

Last year, the Cavaliers went 3-0 SU and ATS when facing elimination to come from behind to defeat the Warriors.
