NY made two roster moves Sunday, recalling right-hander Seth Lugo from a rehab assignment and optioning reliever Tyler Pill and infielder T.J. Rivera to Triple-A Las Vegas.

deGrom got the start after two of the worst games of his career and was excellent.

In the last series encounter between the teams, the Cubs won the first and the final game as the Mets seized the second game. He was not overpowering but was extremely efficient.

Asdrubal Cabrera and Jose Reyes crashed to drop a pop up early on, but Cabrera more than made up for it. Lackey (4-7, 5.26) struggled to keep the ball in the park once again, allowing three home runs in his five innings of work.

Bruce hit his 17th homer, a two-run drive in the third.

That said, this just adds even more fuel to the fire between two teams that aren't exactly fond of each other to begin with. Per OddsShark , the Warriors are 8.5-point favorites over the Cavs for Game 5, and the over/under sits at 231 points.

New York Mets left fielder Yoenis Cespedes, who returned this weekend from a hamstring injury, has left Monday night's game against the Chicago Cubs with a sore left heel.

Nice job by MetsFan4Decades; her effort in the GameThread embiggens us all. In his five career starts against the Mets, Lackey is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA.

deGrom is now sporting a 3.35 xFIP with a 5-3 record and 100 strikeouts in 13 starts (81 innings pitched).

Wilmer Flores went 9-for-25 (.360) with four homers against the Cubs in 2016 - tied for the most HR against Chicago by any player outside the Central Division.
