President Trump tweeted on Monday that he prefers to call the measure a "travel ban" as opposed to "some politically correct term".
On Monday, Conway's husband George schooled Trump on the travel ban on Twitter, criticizing his executive order which targets six Muslim-majority countries.
Now, with the matter headed for the Supreme Court, Trump, with his Twitter rant, has worsened his own case, perhaps irreparably.
After the London terror attack on Saturday, Trump once more insisted that his travel ban must be implemented.
Critics say there is little national security justification for the move and the ban is discriminatory.
In an interview Monday with Britain's Channel 4 News, Khan said he does not have time to respond to tweets from Trump and said Britain should call off a planned state visit by the USA president expected later this year.

On Feb. 3, a USA federal court issued a nationwide temporary restraining order, preventing the government from implementing the ban. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. The court says any responses to that request must be submitted by June 12.
According to him, mere "politically correct" words will not protect his people.

Neal Katyal, a former acting US solicitor general and the lead attorney representing challengers in a case from Hawaii, weighed in on Twitter that Trump's actions were working in favor of Katyal's case. Presumably, that review would conclude before the court would issue an official ruling.
The revised version seeks to ban people from Iran, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Syria for 90 days; it deletes Iraq from the original list. To overcome the legal hurdles, he replaced it with a new order in March.
Last week, the Justice Department formally asked the Supreme Court to let a ban be put in place.
