The refresh rate is also doubled up to 120 Hz. Apple makes some updates to its various software platforms as well as its hardware offerings, and by the sheer strength of being the world's richest tech company, it crushes several smaller companies who do the same thing. This was equipped with a quad-core 3.4 gigaHertz intel "Kaby Lake" 7th-gen Core i5 7500 processor, 8GB of 2.4GHz DDR-4 system memory, and a 1 terabyte hybrid solid-state/electromagnetic hard drive. Apple claims this makes for a smoother, crisper and more responsive display and our experience on the stand seemed to confirm this.
What the Mac Pro offers - in its current configuration - is customization and after-sale upgrading by the user, something virtually impossible to do with an iMac. That's not as high as the 12-megapixel rear camera and 4K video capabilities on the iPad Pro. They also brought over the 7MP front camera from the Apple iPhone 7.

Software ecosystem is the biggest differentiator between the Surface Pro and iPad Pro. The speakers are still situated on the bottom, either side of the lightning charging port, and the three smart connector dots for snapping a magnetic keyboard case are still on the right-hand side. There's no fingerprint sensor, though. Accessories include the wireless Surface Pen, Keyboard, and Mouse. But the iMac Pro will have desktop Xeons with 8-, 10-, or 18 cores per chip - which won't be available from Intel until later this year (with new branding like credit cards). Security is provided by Touch ID's fingerprint sensor. It also has a new feature called ProMotion that reduces the Apple Pencil's latency to 20 milliseconds and can also automatically adjust the refresh rate depending on what you are watching- fast moving video or a still image. There's no compatible mouse, though, again emphasizing that the iPad Pro runs a mobile OS and is not intended for desktops. Its SSD is also 50 percent faster compared to its predecessor.
It wasn't just products that took the centre-stage. In addition to simply having more computing power, the Xeon and Radeon Pro Vega graphics processors are created to work optimally with professional apps like AutoCAD, Dassault CATIA, and Maya. It may go as steep as $2,799 for the 15-inch Touch Bar model. The Mac Pro is likely to start at no less than $3,000.
The real difference between the two is under the hood. Instead the new Mac Pro - and the iMac Pro to some extent - may serve primarily to show the majority of designers and artists that Apple can indeed build the biggest and the best, even if what you'll ultimately end up buying is more a modestly specced and price iMac or MacBook Pro. Those symbols correspond to the glyphs you'll find listed as keyboard shortcuts in menus throughout macOS.
