E3 2017 - Kingdom Hearts III Trailer Shows In-Game Combat and More

The new trailer offers a look at the sequel's take on the Hercules-inspired level, which has been glimpsed in previous trailers and screenshots.

A new Kingdom Hearts III is live now and you should just watch it before reading anything else. The trailer is in Japanese, and it doesn't say when the game is coming out. And combat is, of course, a universal language that we can all appreciate.

Of special note is the unbelievable skydiving opening of the trailer revealing just how grand the worldspace is now in Kingdom Hearts. I don't know when we'll be able to play it, but this new trailer from Square-Enix isn't making the wait any easier.

Since it's stated that we'll be seeing more of this game at D23 next month, it's incredibly likely that we won't see this game during E3 this week.

Today, Square Enix proved once again, that they will handle the development and promotion of their games in their own way. While this doesn't rule out the possibility of getting info about Square's other franchises during the show, it sets an interesting precedent for the reveal of AAA game trailers going forward.
