UAE Threatens Qatar with Economic Embargo

Turkey's parliament has begun debating legislation for increased military cooperation with Qatar in an apparent move to support the country amid its dispute with Saudi Arabia and other regional nations.

Emirati Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash also acknowledged Wednesday that leaked emails published by news outlets from its ambassador to the United States were true.

Jordan's decision comes as nine countries cut ties with Qatar, accusing the country of supporting and sponsoring terrorism in the region and across the world. Qatar's rulers were "trying to describe this as an issue about the independence of their foreign policy, and it is not", he said.

The UAE's state airline Etihad Airways also suspended all flights to and from Doha.
