She was unaware of the fact that the train was fast approching her, when she spotted it getting close, tried to jump back onto the platform.
'When she suddenly looked up the train had already reached her. Ms Natekar has now told NDTV that at the time, she was listening to music on her cellphone. She was also reportedly discharged the same day from the hospital.
She's now warned people not to wear headphones while boarding trains, and to use the foot overbridge to cross the tracks.
The girl was thrown in the middle of the track by the impact as the train moved over her body.

I was stunned and I did not know what happened. "When I woke up I was in hospital", she said. She panicked and ran first towards the platform and then straight into the train'.
Her gran said: "We were scared".
