A day before the all-party meeting, the AAP on Thursday forwarded a new demand, calling for an all party committee to be formed under the monitoring of the EC to ascertain whether EVMS were hacked in the recently held elections or not. Tehseen Poonawalla, who calls himself a Congress supporter, and Election Watch convenor VV Rao sought answers to 21 questions from the Election Commission, in a bid to ensure a transparent poll process. "There is no machine in the world, which can not be hacked", he said.
Mr Bharadwaj had conducted a televised hack of a voting machine assembled by IIT graduates which they claimed was an accurate replica of the EVM.
Conducting a mock poll on an EVM machine, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj demonstrated how despite giving two votes each to various parties; the final count showed that votes of some parties had been transferred to one party.
"He (Bhardwaj) showed how easy it is to hack EVMs and it is being done on a massive scale".
"The Election Commission has convened a meeting with all recognised national and state political parties on May 12 in New Delhi to discuss the issue related to EVM and VVPAT".

The house concluded by passing a resolution urging the president and the election commission to endorse VVPAT in all EVMs.
Rejecting the EC's assertion that EVMs can not be manipulated, Rai said, "The Commission in its response said we used a dummy and not an actual machine in yesterday's demonstration".
"There is no way that a voter can verify as to whether the vote cast by him has gone to the right candidate". The poll panel is now meeting the representatives of 55 political parties, 16 of which had urged it to return to ballot papers, citing the "tamperability" of the voting machines.
An all-party meeting on the EVMs is scheduled for Wednesday and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) being a recognised state party will also attend the meetting, according to the official.
