PSEB class 12th results 2017: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the results of the class 12 Senior Secondary Examination (SSE).
Acknowledging the trouble that students go through for checking the Punjab 12th Result 2016 online, the board has simplified the checking procedure this year. All the candidates who had written the exam are eagerly waiting for the Punjab 12th Results 2017. In all 3,18,453 students appeared in the examination and 2,44,487 students had passed.

The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab.
This year, the PSEB conducted the annual Board Exam for class 12 students in the month of March. The board was granted autonomy in 1987 after the state assembly amended the Board's Act. The scope of Board's functions is very wide and covers nearly every aspect/stage of school education.
Last year's result also shows that girls scored a pass percent of 84.3 per cent, faring better than boys who scored 71.12 per cent.
