Taraji P. Henson took home the award for best fight against the system for her role in Hidden Figures at the MTV Movie and TV Awards on Sunday night, and you better believe her speech was incredibly inspiring.

She added: "MTV's move to create a genderless award for acting will mean something different to everyone". Speaking on today's episode of Good Morning Britain, Morgan ranted: "Gender neutral awards, just what the world was craving". It also scored two big wins, one for Best Movie and one for Emma Watson as Belle in the Best Actor in a Movie category.

Another English actress, Millie Bobby Brown, 13, won the best actor in a TV show award for the sci-fi show "Stranger Things".

Beauty and The Beast was released on March 17, 2017, and has racked up a global earning of USD$1.2bil (RM5.1bil) thus far. Anyone could be nominated under the new "Best Actor" categories for television and film.

"To me, [this award] indicates that acting is about the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes". So, movie stars were not the only ones who received golden popcorn trophies on Sunday night. Thank you for educating me in such-in such an inclusive, patient, and loving way.

The Penguins are probably the favorites right now to win the Cup and repeat as champions, but Ottawa poses a tough test for them. It's an opportunity that provides all the adrenaline necessary to overcome any sort of physical or emotional fatigue.

"Thank you to the audience who embraced this movie so much, but especially thank you to the women because women have proven that they're a huge and powerful audience, and it's gonna change the movie business".

Sanders and Jerome received the award for their tender kiss in "Moonlight", this year's Oscar victor for best picture. The moment was only more monumental because of the fact that Watson's Best Actor acceptance speech was brilliant, a true acknowledgement of the meaningfulness of the award that served as a true highlight of the evening.

Trevor Noah of Comedy Central's The Daily Show was named Best Host.

"MTV is once again a pioneer in reflecting who young people are today", said Sarah Kate Ellis, GLAAD President & CEO.

The Bill Condon-directed movie won the top film honour beating the fellow nominees including "Logan", "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", "Get Out" and "The Edge of Seventeen", reported Ace Showbiz.
