Pakistan's Balochistan Frontier Corps Inspector Major General Nadeem Ahmed announced the news on Sunday, adding that more than 100 members of Afghan security forces had also been wounded in the cross-border operation.
Ten Pakistani civilians were killed and more than 40 people, including women and children, were injured in the firing by Afghan forces.
Pakistan claims last week's border clashes with Afghanistan left more than 50 Afghan security troops dead and scores of others wounded while five of their outposts were destroyed.
"We are not happy over their losses since they are our Muslim brothers", Anjum had said, according to Pakistani media outlet, Dawn.
However, Afghanistan has rejected claims that Pakistani security forces killed 50 Afghan soldiers in retaliation to the Chaman cross-border attack.
He said that the Pakistani Forces retaliated and targeted those afghan posts from where fire was opened.
On Friday, nine Pakistanis and four Afghans were killed as border forces traded heavy gunfire across the Friendship Gate in Chaman.

On Saturday, Pakistani and Afghan authorities mooted over the control of the areas, Killi Luqman and Killi Jahangir, affected during firing and shelling by the Afghan forces on Friday, which ended in a stalemate.
