Deadline reports the network has given a series order to Marvel's The Gifted.
The Gifted marks Marvel Television's first broadcast expansion beyond ABC, where the comic book power house has Agents of SHIELD expected to return for another season as well as its forthcoming Imax collaboration The Inhumans. X-Men movies veteran Bryan Singer will direct.
The show was written by Burn Notice's Matt Nix and directed by X-Men series director and producer Bryan Singer.
Fox has released the first teaser for its X-Men spin-off show The Gifted. I can't wait to give this show a shot and neither should you.

The Gifted also stars Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes as the couple's children, Sean Teale plays (Eclipse/Marcos Diaz), Jamie Chung (Blink/Clarice Fong), Emma Dumont (Polaris/Lorna Dane), Blair Redford (Thunderbird/John Proudstar) and Coby Bell (Jace Turner).
She also appeared inX-Men: Days Of Future Past as portrayed by Fan Bingbing, but due to timeline shenanigans they storytellers can explain that this is a different version of the character. Singer will also executive produce with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Winberg, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory. It follows a family that goes on the run when they realise their kids are mutants, and ends up falling in with a group of underground mutants.
