Justin Hubbard, left, hands his newborn baby, Drea, to his wife, Kymica Hubbard, during a news conference on Monday.

On Sunday afternoon Kymica Hubbard and her husband Justin brought their children to the zoo. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear an impact player is going to be coming into the lineup via any of their prospects in short order. Thornton, 37, had "successful" surgery Monday to fix torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee.

"We hope when she grows up old enough, she can see where she was born", Justin Hubbard said. "It was a insane experience".

'When I looked up, I could see tons of people, ' Justin Hubbard said. "I saw people from the side videotaping". "It was unique. Just the love that surrounded it made it even better".

As a welcome gift for little Drea, the zoo is treating the Hubbard family to a one-year membership. "It's coming! So I got more excited than scared", she says.

- Drea had been chosen as a name beforehand, the parents said.

Kymica first became concerned about the impending arrival of her daughter on the zoo's train.
