Analyst company SuperData has just released a report announcing Nintendo's latest video game console, the Switch, made through its first release month with 2.4 million sales. So it's not that hard to believe Nintendo's boast that it was able to sell more than 906,000 Nintendo Switches in March, as least in the United States only. In the same announcement, Nintendo announced they sold 1.3 million copies of Zelda.
Switch, the new-age home gaming console system offering additional mobility convenience to user who can easily carry it on the go, has emerged as the fastest-selling video game system in Nintendo's history. This makes the Switch the fastest selling console from Nintendo to date, though these numbers are within a "nontraditional month". Once they start launching, I suspect, more consumers will get interested in the Nintendo Switch. Where its long-term game stands has yet to be seen, as it's still working to make the system readily available to buyers interested in it.
