Kelly Bush Novak told Reuters that Williams, 35, "definitely" would not be able to play again this year but "looks forward to returning in 2018".

Serena Williams is going to be a mom!

It came with the caption "20 weeks", but was then deleted without explanation.

The infamous Snap, of which Williams shared on her official account on Wednesday, showed her in a sexy, yellow one-piece swimsuit, her belly visibly bigger than the last time she was seen in public.

The tennis champ took to Snapchat to post a photograph captioned "20 weeks" which first set the rumours of her pregnancy.

Aaron Hernandez reportedly found with Bible verse written on his forehead
He played three seasons with the Patriots, and caught a pass in the team's Super Bowl XLVI loss to the Giants in 2012. He was acquitted on Friday of a 2012 double homicide in Boston. "I don't believe that he would have killed himself".

She pulled out of the recent tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami citing a knee injury but is scheduled to return at the Madrid Open next month.

She announced in late December that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. With a little Serena Williams or Alexis Ohanian on the way, the couple is now on the way to building their life together as a family.

After a few hours of uncertainty due to the deletion of both her initial Snapchat post and the WTA's congratulations message, reps for Williams have confirmed to multiple outlets that the 35-year-old is indeed pregnant. This includes three Grand Slams - the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open. Her record of 39 major titles puts her third on the all-time list and second in the open era: 23 in singles, 14 in women's doubles, and 2 in mixed doubles.

Pointing out that Court, fellow Australian great Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Belgian Kim Clijsters had returned from child birth to win grand slam titles, Williams' fans insist she can too.

It would be perfectly safe for Williams to continue with rigorous training throughout pregnancy, but how quickly she would return to tournament tennis, if she so chooses, was uncertain, the researchers said.
