New Delhi has said that it would not only appeal against Mr Jadhav's death sentence, but has also demand a copy of the chargesheet and the final court order to finalise the future course of action.

The document contains the attested report of Court Martial General, as well as the court proceedings timeline, The Nation reported.

The new dossier is based on Jadhav's early testimonial and statements given in front of the Field General Court Martial.

The Pakistani media, meanwhile, was rife with speculation that a retired Pakistani army officer, Lt Colonel Mohammad Habib, who went missing from Lumbini in Nepal on April 6, had been abducted by Indian security agencies in a tit-for-tat response to Jadhav's abduction. However, Janjua said since it is a case of espionage, consular access can't be granted contrary to the Indian High Commission's claim that the same must be granted under worldwide law.

Jadhav was given death penalty earlier this week by a military court in Pakistan for alleged spying in that country, which was later confirmed by Pakistani Army chief General Qamar Bajwa. Pakistan claims its security forces had arrested Mr Jadhav from Balochistan province on March 3 a year ago after he reportedly entered from Iran.

India has sought consular access to Jadhav 13 times earlier, but the permission was refused each time.

Jackson, the Knicks team president, addressed reporters Friday, two days after the team completed its fourth straight losing season.

"Jadhav has been denied consular access in direct violation of the Geneva Convention".

The Defence Ministry, however, didn't give clearance for the delegation's visit.

India has reportedly canceled the talks with Pakistan on maritime security, scheduled for next week, amid tension over Islamabad " s decision to convict a suspected spy in the country.

The documents will also contain details of arrests and raids done by Pakistan security agencies on Jadhav's tip-offs. Earlier, India has put all bilateral talks with Pakistan on hold and now it has chose to limit the number of visas issued to Pakistan.

Singh said, the government is trying everything to get access to Jadhav.
