Bells victor Jordy Smith.
It is the South African's sixth championship tour win and comes a year after losing the Rip Curl Pro final to Australian Matt Wilkinson.
Smith, 29, wasn't messing around in the final on Wednesday where he unloaded with his textbook carves, giant floaters, and ruthless snaps while racking up a total of 18.90 points.
"This is just absolutely a dream come true", Smith, who finished runner-up at the event previous year, said.
"I've had some of the greatest performances of my career out here, so to come away with the win today was truly a dream come true".

Brazilian Ibelli scored 9.63 in one of his waves in the final, and said the help of veteran surfer and shaper Maurice Cole had paid dividends with a semi-final win over Florence.
Smith had earlier defeated Adriano de Souza in the quarter-finals and beat Ezekiel Lau in his semi-final heat.
"If I learned anything from last year, he (Florence) only started his run from Brazil - it's a long year".
"This is by far the best start to a year I've had", Florence said after his loss to Ibelli.
"When people falter, you just have to capitalise".
He has returned to the tour full-time after last year's sabbatical.
