A spokesman for former President George H.W. Bush said the 92-year-old politician was re-admitted to a Houston hospital Friday over what turned out to be pneumonia.

In February, Bush and wife Barbara, who was also hospitalized in January, took part in the pregame coin toss at the Super Bowl at NRG Stadium.
McGrath said the former president "is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength".

Bush has a form of Parkinson's disease and uses a motorized scooter or a wheelchair for mobility.
Former President Bill Clinton visited Bush earlier this month and gave him a few pairs of patterned socks. "My doctor says if I sit outside in January, it likely will put me six feet under", Bush said in a letter to Trump on January 10.
