Allegri: Focus on this as a game we have to win

The Catalan side looked down and out after losing the first leg of their last-16 tie 4-0 against Paris St Germain in February, but produced a remarkable 6-1 second-leg triumph last month to reach the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is targeting a second successive unlikely comeback victory in the Champions League and admits his side have another mountain to climb. The experience of overturning a larger, 4-0 deficit in the prior round against Paris Saint-Germain is sure to serve as inspiration for Barcelona tomorrow, although it must be mentioned that tomorrow's match will be played under vastly different circumstances. Rather than winning their last two matches by five goals as they did prior to the return leg against PSG, Barça have turned in two relatively dismal performances in their last two fixtures: first slumping to a 2-0 defeat against Malaga and then barely scraping past Real Sociedad 3-2 this past Saturday.

"Many results at home and the recent comeback against PSG are statistics that invite optimism".

But enough with the pessimism. We intend to hurt Barca and a goal would make a big difference in this tie and be a blow for them.

But is this the strongest Juve that we have seen in a long time?

"I know we have great respect for Barcelona, but this kind of game requires little thought and a lot of action".

"I believe in the team and in our power.Everything is lost (already), so we have nothing to lose and everything to gain".

The failed North Korean missile test over the weekend was an attempt by the reclusive country to "provoke something", U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Tuesday, pledging that the United States will work with China to reduce tensions.

"Mascherano's recovery is good news", Enrique said. I don't think Barcelona have solved their defensive woes in one week.

Barcelona have won their last 15 Champions League games at the Camp Nou (50 goals scored, 7 conceded), all since Luis Enrique took charge.

"We've got to keep them as far away from our goal as possible", he told Sky Italia.

Paulo Dybala is likely to be fit to start tomorrow even after picking up a knock at the weekend against Pescara, but that is likely to be the least of Barcelona's problems. "The Camp Nou must not be set on fire", he said.

Does this mean that they are invincible? "He continued: "(The first leg) was a tough loss, but we're potent; we can sow doubt in our opponents and try to turn the tables. And with the risks they will have to take, they're there to be had by Allegri's team.

Along with Barcelona playing host to Juventus, Monaco will look to hold on to their 3-2 aggregate lead when they welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Stade Louis II on Wednesday night.
