In the late hours of last night, Lady Gaga topped off her headlining performance at Coachella with a brand spanking new song "The Cure". Gaga was dressed in a black police hat and a leather trench coat as she kicked off her set with Scheibe from her Born This Way album. It can be recalled that Queen B had to bail out from performing in the two Saturdays, given the fact that she's already in her third trimester and is expecting twins, making her pregnancy extremely delicate, Billboard has learned.
Gaga, of course, will be back for the second weekend of Coachella on April 22, to perform during the same coveted headliner spot as she did Saturday. "I've been so excited for this next part of the show because I've been trying to keep it a secret for so long", she told the packed crowd. "And I said no, cause that means I'm playing for the heavyweights at Coachella", Gaga said to laughter and cheers from the crowd, before launching into track John Wayne.
To judge the song for yourself, you can download "The Cure" on iTunes or stream it on Spotify.

For "Telephone", Gaga put on a red hoodie from her merchandise collection and she ended up taking it off (with a bit of a struggle) while sitting at the piano before singing "The Edge of Glory".
Technicians rushed to fix the broken speakers, and Radiohead eventually returned to complete their headline set after a five-minute break.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of them all was when Lady Gaga dropped her new single "The Cure," a song that combines a chill danceable rhythm with meaningful lyrics.
