The almost 8km road show starting from Bhubaneswar Airport to Janta Maidan, where PM Modi was to finally meet his cabinet colleagues, state chief ministers and top BJP leadership for the National Executive meeting, passed through Odisha's capital's landmark spots - Raj Bhavan to Jaidev Vihar Square, giving the ruling Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal some jitters and anxious moments. "Amit Shah announced that he would be travelling to different states for 95 days till September and meeting party cadre to get feedback and monitor the ground level working", said Bhatt. "Till that happens, the golden era of the BJP will not have arrived".
Modi also expressed his desire to rid India of social and economic inequities.

He was speaking after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the meeting.
After Odisha, Modi is scheduled to be in his home state Gujarat on a two-day visit.
