Russian Federation says evidence growing Syria chemical attack was staged

In a joint press conference following the tripartite meeting held in Moscow April 14, the Syrian FM thanked his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov for his invitation to visit Moscow after the U.S. aggression against Syria, extending gratitude to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif for attending the meeting which conveys a firm message after the attack, APA's Moscow correspondent reported.

The foreign ministers from Russia, Syria and Iran, meeting Friday in Moscow, said any further unilateral action by the U.S.in Syria would be met with "grave consequences" and pose a danger to the entire world.

Russian Federation contends the chemicals belonged to terrorists. It is not a fantasy.

While Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said the USA didn't provide evidence that Assad was responsible for the April 4 attack, officials in Washington on published a document Tuesday containing satellite images, reports from the scene and details of exposure gathered from victims.

Lavrov on Friday accused the US and its allies of what he described as attempts to stymie an global probe into the attack.

Russian Federation has staunchly backed Assad's government throughout Syria's six-year civil war. Russian Federation blamed the West for supporting rebel groups, which it says are terrorists. The US says it has images proving the bomb left a crater in a road rather than hitting a building.

The US missile strikes can not be justified", added the Syrian minister".

His remarks were rejected by French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault yesterday. "The reality is that more than 300,000 have died, 11 million people have been displaced or become refugees, tens of thousands have been placed in Syrian prisons and a country has been destroyed", Mr Ayrault said.
