Arsenal players abused by their own fans after Crystal Palace defeat

Arsenal would want to keep the player but i think they'll find it hard to do so given their struggles.

Bellerin sought to meet the Arsenal faithful at full-time following the loss but was instead booed, leading to the full-back turning and walking away before being consoled by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"I just think, from top to bottom this club is not right", he said.

Lucas Perez appears to be enjoying his spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury but he managed to upset a fair few Arsenal fans this week. The Gunners now sit seven points behind the top four with one game in hand after their 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Monday night.

"So if you can get at them you can get into the box and make chances", said Big Sam of Arsenal's full backs who are allowed to push high up the field.

ARSENE WENGER'S Arsenal future hangs in the balance as the Gunners board appears split over whether or not to keep him, while also considering appointing a first ever director of football. Defensively they leave [Shkodran] Mustafi and Gabriel exposed and they're left on their own so we can get in their box and get chances. I can not tell you anything more than what I said many times, you know.

"Four games on the bounce conceding three in all of them, putting in a performance like that. They've been bought to take Arsenal to titles, to the Champions League and they've been nowhere near good enough".

Banged-up Yankees limp home after 2-4 start on road
Mitchell (1-0) got four outs for the win, and Aroldis Chapman retired two batters for the first save of his second Yankees' stint. For the day, Pineda fanned 11 in his 7-2/3 innings, allowing the two hits and no walks, throwing 93 pitches, 67 for strikes.

Wenger praised Palace striker Christian Benteke who continued his impressive form by causing Arsenal's vulnerable defence a handful of problems.

"We thought we'd bounced back well against Manchester City and West Ham at home, but tonight that wasn't us at all".

"All we can do is apologize for that performance", Arsenal's Theo Walcott said after Arsenal fans had sung "You're not fit to wear the shirt" at their players.

"I don't want to speak about me tonight".

Arsenal have lost their last four consecutive away matches in the Premier League and look a team short of confidence.

"We always criticise Ozil, and I'm not his biggest fan". Honestly. I don't know what to say. After such a long time, to see that we've lost a game the way we've lost it is of course very disappointing.
