The former New England Patriots tight end is charged in the fatal shootings of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado on July 16, 2012. "The two were best friends until, Bradley alleges, Hernandez shot Bradley in the face to shut him up about the murders (Hernandez is also charged with witness intimidation)".

On Friday, jurors saw graphic autopsy photos of the two men Hernandez is accused of killing in 2012.

Hernandez is already facing life in prison for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. The state's highest court will automatically review his first-degree murder conviction in that case at a later date. But Antone Salvador, the defense's first witness in Hernandez's trial, testified he spent about seven minutes with Hernandez in the nightclub and saw no incident where anyone spilled a drink on Hernandez. And that it was Bradley who pulled the trigger, killing Abreu and Furtado.

Prosecutors have wrapped up their case in the double-murder trial of ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez. Jenkins-Hernandez, who has a 4-year-old daughter with Hernandez, said she took his name in 2015.

Baez called Bradley a "liar, "perjurer" and "parasite" who got the "deal of a lifetime" from prosecutors after he named Hernandez as the shooter".

During the trial, a fully qualified, law officer of Judge Advocate General (JAG) Branch remained a part of the court. Aziz said that Jadhav had the right to appeal within 40 days to a higher court.

Though there is no footage of the actual shooting, or the clumsiness that supposedly sparked it, Haggan reminded the jury of evidence from the five-week trial that police recovered the vehicle and the murder weapon after Hernandez had a family member hide them. Prosecutors say Hernandez shot at the men because De Abreu of them had bumped into him at the club, spilling his drink.

Bradley said earlier in the month that he thought "something was brewing" in the club between Hernandez and the victims prior to their deaths.

The jury began deliberations Thursday afternoon.

Bradley testified that Hernandez took out a gun and opened fire on the men's auto at a stoplight two hours after the nightclub encounter. Hernandez was allegedly a passenger in a auto driven later that night by Bradley, who was told to follow a vehicle containing the two men.
