Clinton appeared on stage at the Women in the World Conference in New York on Thursday for a Q&A with the New York Times' Nick Kristof.
The former secretary of state did not mince words when she called for an independent investigation into Russia's involvement in the U.S. election process, according to The Telegraph.
"By the time they finished with me, I was Typhoid Mary", she said, attributing her sharp decline in popularity to sexism directed against women who display ambition.
"And that just has to be admitted", Clinton told an audience of about 3,000 people at the Women in the World Summit in NY on Thursday.
"I don't take any pleasure in seeing the kind of chaotic functioning", she said.
"I really believe that we should have and still should take out his air fields and prevent him from being able to use them to bomb innocent people", she said of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. "The role the U.S. plays in the world matters", Clinton said. "I assumed by now Hermione would have returned to her rightful home at Hogwarts, where she's rumored to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor", she said.
Ryan: House Republicans getting closer to consensus on health care bill
Originally, the new White House plan called for eliminating almost all the so-called Title 1 insurance regulations under the ACA. The legislation has not yet emerged, despite talks with Republican lawmakers led by Vice President Mike Pence.
Hillary Clinton called on President Donald Trump's administration Friday to develop a strategy to end Syria's civil war in a manner consistent with American values, following a United States missile strike on the country late Thursday.
"By the time they finished with me, I was Typhoid Mary, and poor Mary, she didn't deserve it either", she said. "I think it's zero chance that he would have done this deliberately", former Texas congressman Ron Paul said on Wednesday.
In remarks at Georgetown University, she blasted the President's budget blueprint, which proposed deep domestic spending cuts and reductions in foreign aid. "And layer on the first woman president over that and I think some people, women included, had real problems". That just has to be admitted.
Clinton was asked what it says about the challenges that women face when "a man who bragged about sexual assault won the election". Although Clinton said that she had no plans to seek elective office, it will hardly tamp speculation that she may consider something down the road.
"I don't understand the commitment to hurt so many people that this administration, this White House, seems to be pursuing", Clinton said, pointing to the immigration ban, the slashing of USA funding for the UN Population Fund, and the failed health care bill.
