Theo Walcott apologises to Arsenal fans for insipid Crystal Palace defeat

The Gunners lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace last night and today have denied that Wenger has been offered a new deal.

But the Arsenal manager was adamant his underachieving stars remain on his side.

He then added:"But I can not go on forever after a game like that, I'm disappointed and determined to put things right".

For the rest of the match, both he and Gabriel Paulista surrendered willingly to Benteke and Wilfried Zaha as the rest of the team just looked disinterested.

Arsenal had a couple of early chances but seemed to lose confidence after Andros Townsend put the hosts ahead after 17 minutes.

After another shambolic performance and result, Arsenal's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season took another massive blow.

Arsenal are stuck in sixth place with the fans at war with Arsene Wenger, the board and the players over the disputed issue of Wenger's continued management of the club.
